The Face Hunter totally reminds me of Holy Stalder in this picture, with it's sorta-Mexican inspired dress. I had already posted this dress before HERE, but now I'm thinking I'm gonna try to make one similar. Just for me, the super Mexican! don't laugh Sergio.

These two purses are on SALE right now at Cuffs Urban Apparel. The Black one with chain is leather and the top opens wide and stays open because it has a metal thingie at the top (it's hard to explain, just go check it out).




This brown one looks and feels like suede, but I can't guarantee that it is. It's handles can slid down into the purse and turn into the cutest clutch.

These last couple of days, I've sat my friends down and made them watch this shit. It's sooo good! And even if you're not a pothead, you will still find this funny (as at least one of my co-workers did). I would totally link the webpage I got this from....but, I don't remember. ahahahah. I'm a retard.

Pot Psychology

Oh, yeah, the girl is super cute, has awesome clothes and accessories, and knows how to grow out her hair flawlessly. Furthermore, she totally looks like one of my homies.

Green is the way to go, right?

Today, I woke up and the sun looked like a red light in the sky. It was completely overcast with smoke and looked like it was the middle of winter. So weird.

I wish this air would clear up soon. I heard on NPR this morning that, in November, we might be able to vote on an issue that I have been really passionate about: bullet trains! It looks like another one is up for vote. This time, instead of trying to create one from Sac to LA, there will be two, one from Sac to SF and one from LA to San Diego. This will not only help with pollution, but with a lack of funds for gas. photo by irana. Green hair. God, I wish I could.

white summer dreams

Good morning! I hope everyone had a good day yesterday. Today, I really want to get back into the swing of things and start making my dresses again. Sorry I never posted picturs of any that I had made before. That was one of the reasons Jen and I started this blog, to show everyone our creations to help them sell better. But I never ended up taking pictures before handing them over to Cuffs. Anyway, I just got inspired to get off my ass.

This photo I found a while back on foto decadent. I don't remember what spread it was in, but when I saw it, I fell in love and wanted to make it. I still don't know how to put in buttons or zippers (don't laugh, I can barely sew in a straight line), so who knows if this creation will come to fruition.
But my real inspiration came from cupcakesandaisy. This lovely blogger and wardrobe_remixer made this dress out of a large T-shirt. Talk about doing it yourself! Check our her blog as well.

No sleep, still no AC, no breakfast and still no coffee. I am not a happy camper. Thank god for these dudes. If their outfits don't cheer me up, I don't know what will!

procrastination

Okay, I'm supposed to be doing something at work that I don't really want to do. And just like in college, where I would find the most random things to do in order to have an excuse not to study, I am avoiding my responsibilities. Here am I again, lost in a downward spiral of procrastination. What I have done over the course of this blog is post about other people's style and my inspiration from blogs and what not. What I haven't done is post a single picture of myself in my own clothes. Now, it's not from lack of narcissism, but from a lack of time and patience. I never have time to take pictures of my outfits and my husband doesn't have the patience to do it for me. But, low and behold, takeovertokyo actually has one of my fav skirts on film (or file, or whatever). So, I thought I would share. And hey, Jen....yeah, I know...three posts in one day. So sue me, I'm procrastinating, okay?

things I need (aka, want)!!

Here's a list of crap I need. Yes, I need these things! Will I get them? Probably not. Goddamn you, mortgage payment!

Anywho, This picture represents how I feel. Naked (need more clothes), wanting some loving (can't wait to get off of work!), and, well, a little over-extended....

I saw this dress on foto decadent. I don't know who makes it, but it is small-tittie friendly. So, I want it! Especially since I have a wedding to attend soon, and I have NOTHING to wear!

And this girl! I wish I had her glowing skin and her freaking cute ass shirt. Oh, French people.


Now, I know it's pretty much the middle of summer (since summer started hella early this year), but I just saw the line up for Topshop Fall '08. I think I'm gonna need a few things....check out all of it here.

Like this headband. Hopefully by Fall, I have some hair to push back.
And this peacoat. It is the perfect combination of structured design and feminine color.

Now, Josh hates half my closet. Says it is hideous. But goddam it! Sometimes the ugliest things ever are the most awesomest. Yes, the most awesomest.

Now, because I'm always low on funds, my list from F21 is a little more realistic. I think I might actually try to get everything on that list. Like this cute purse!

These shorts can be worn all year round, and I just love LOVE me some linen.

Like I said, hopefully my hair grows some more, so I have an excuse to wear headbands.

From Urban, I want both these pairs. I know they're similar, and I know I should get sandals, but I have stinky feets so I need two pairs I can rotate, and well, I can still wear them while it's hot, cuz they're leather. They're leather! that reason alone is good enough.







And to help keep my skin all glowies, I needs me some more of this. Ran out so quickly.

This stuff, as you all know, keeps skin sooo soft. I remember when Josh and I first met, he asked if I waxed (I don't). That's how soft this stuff makes you feel.
And last but not least, I neeeeed this couch. With summer here, people tend to spend the night. This will not only look sooo cute, but will help accomodate guests. What's on your list??
